About Us
KickZone is written by Anas — a lifelong football fan who doesn't miss a match if I can help it. I played through school and went on to compete in sub-district tournaments, which is where my interest in the game's rules and structures really took hold.
Most football content either assumes you already know the rules, or buries the explanation in jargon. KickZone exists to close that gap: clear, accurate explainers on how football actually works — the rules, the formats, the things commentators mention without ever explaining.
What you'll find here
Two things, done properly rather than a bit of everything:
- Football rules and formats, explained properly — VAR, offside, how tournaments are structured, how transfer windows work, and the edge cases that actually confuse people.
- Indian football and the ISL — coverage most English-language football sites skip entirely.
How facts are checked
Rules and regulations are sourced from official references — IFAB's Laws of the Game, FIFA, UEFA, and AIFF/ISL's own published rules — and linked wherever a claim depends on them. Where something changes season to season (rankings, formats, qualification rules), the post says as of when it was accurate.
If something here is out of date or wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.
What KickZone doesn't do
KickZone does not promote pirated streams, illegal downloads, betting links, or misleading "watch live" buttons.
